Birthday Parties
Birthdays at The Garden are more than parties. We gather loved ones to celebrate our little ones' growth and express gratitude for another year.
On the weekends, our play area magically transforms into a Birthday Garden, offering kids, parents, and friends the chance to explore their own ways of playing while enhancing their bonding time. There will be plenty of free-play and exploration, with opportunities to gather and enjoy birthday cake together. If you’re interested, we can also arrange for baking bread rolls to add a special touch to the celebration. The festivities continue with coffee and tea available for all the guests.

We understand how much your little ones cherish their birthdays. It’s their special moment! And, of course, they want to make this time dino-hero-princess-space-ponytastic! If that’s the case, worry not. We get it. We are happy to collaborate with you or a third party to bring their imaginative ideas to life.
FAQs
Can I decorate before the party?
Yes, we typically allow a two-hour setup window before your party, depending on our schedule. Morning parties (10:00-12:00) can usually be set up around 8:00. Afternoon parties (15:00-17:00) can usually be set up around 13:00.
Is there seating available?
The Mallow Garden's interior is intentionally designed in a Japanese/Asian style, with lower seating to promote a calm and friendly atmosphere for both adults and children. A few stools are available, and you're welcome to bring additional chairs if needed.
My child is turning one, but we have younger guests. Will they enjoy the baking activity?
Children from around 8-11 months old will already enjoy the sensory experience of baking, though they will need assistance
Will you be serving coffee, tea, or any other beverages?
Yes, we provide coffee, tea, and organic apple/pear juice for you and your guests
Can we bring our own beverages to the party?
You’re welcome to bring additional drinks! We kindly ask that you avoid alcohol and plastic containers to maintain our eco-friendly environment.
Can we bring our own food?
Certainly! A birthday celebration wouldn’t be complete without delicious treats. However, based on our experience, loose food items like raisins and dates can create extra cleaning work. Fruit and veggie plates are a great option and work really well.
Do we need to bring our own glasses, cutlery, or plates?
As every toddler has their own favorite things, we don’t provide birthday decorations, paper plates, or cutlery, so you’re welcome to bring your own to make the celebration just right for your little one. If you’re interested in a more customized setup, just let me know—we can discuss options and additional details if you’d like!
Do we need to clean up after the party?
We kindly ask that you tidy up at the end of the party to ensure everything is returned to its original state.
Up to how many people can we invite?
The rental includes up to 10 children and 20 adults. If you plan to invite more guests, please let us know in advance. There’s a small extra charge of 20,- per person.
